This is now, but in the beginning a long time ago:

In 1944 after the Second World War, James Robert Nice started running a Plumbing and Heating business in the West London areas, having served an apprenticeship at the age of 14, before the war, and continued to do so until his retirement in 1984, a period of over 40 years, with thousands of satisfied customers behind him. He was an excellent plumber and very highly regarded for his high quality workmanship and also for being trusted and liked as a person, by all of his customers and acquaintances.

In 1965 Robert James Nice started working as an apprentice with his Father J R Nice Plumbing and Heating, in his Plumbing and Heating business. Attending Twickenham college for over 7 years on day release, he achieved distinctions in all plumbing, heating and roofwork exams, and also boiler control wiring. They continued working together until his father retired.

R J Nice continued running this business ever since, as R J Nice Plumbing and Heating, and continues in the belief that an excellent job at a fair price will always reap rewards for the customer and indeed the tradesman alike. Like his father before him, he is extremely conscientious and proud of the work that he does, or has done, on his behalf. He says “My father never compromised on workmanship and neither will I”. R J Nice has been Corgi and Gas Safe registered for over 30 years, and specialises in servicing and boiler breakdowns, boiler replacements and updating system controls to the latest high efficiency wireless controllers, such as Nest and Evohome.

R J Nice has 5 sons and two of them are also plumbers.

Richard is working independently and specialises in Plumbing and Drain problems. He carries the latest drain jetting and power equipment and is available 24hrs a day. He takes referrals from his father and brother, so all areas of work are covered, 24/7. A real family affair.
